Introducing Tafuto Aquatics Strength & Conditioning Instruction, LLC
Exercise has always been a passion of mine.
For most of college and high school, I trained for competitive swimming, both in the pool, and in the gym.
I've been working as a swimming instructor since 2016 during my college swimming days. Just recently, I added personal training to my repertoire.
My qualifications include:
- Two-time NCAA Division I All-American
- 2016 Olympic Trials qualifier and participant
- Multi-time University of Michigan Scholar-athlete award recipient
- Former Hershey Country Club swim team head coach
- Bachelor's degree in Sport Management (University of Michigan, class of 2017)

MY MISSION
I strive to arm the people of Central PA, and beyond, with water safety skills and a strong physical fitness regimen.
Learning to swim is one of the most important safety skills of the 21st century. More than half of the earth, simply put, is water. Children need to learn water safety as early as possible. Beyond water safety, swimming provides an excellent medium, for participants of all ages, to stay in shape.
Speaking of staying in shape, exercise promotes both physical AND mental health. As we age, the necessity to maintain muscle and cardiovascular health becomes paramount to our longevity.
Swimming and staying in shape should not be arduous tasks. Aquatic and fitness activities ought to be constructive, enjoyable outlets to let off steam and provide a healthy release from the stress of a long day's work.

I am flexible with time and location.
I conduct swim-teaching and personal training from our home pool and gym in Hummelstown. We have a heated outdoor pool (to the right) for the summer months.
For winter swimming instruction, we use a local hotel, called the Days Inn. For advanced swimming instruction (technique, starts & turns), we have access to the competition pool at Keystone Aquatic Center, in Carlisle (all seasons).
The home garage gym (see above) features a rowing machine, exercise bike, squat/bench rack, barbell & plates, dumbbells, weight-sled, box for explosive jumps, and pull-up tower.
If the times and locations provided do not match your schedule, I'm happy to consider alternative venues for you and your family.
Contact me via call, text, or email with any questions. I promise to get back to you within 24 hours!
